Permitted use

VerifyVIN is intended for individuals and businesses evaluating a specific vehicle they own, are buying, selling, insuring, servicing, or trading.

Prohibited use

• Automated scraping, bulk lookups outside a purchased bundle, or resale of raw data.
• Building a competing VIN or vehicle-history database from our output.
• Using report data to locate, harass, stalk, or discriminate against any individual.
• Reverse engineering, circumventing rate limits, or sharing account credentials.
• Any use that violates UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, or local law.

Enforcement

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy without refund for consumed reports. Serious abuse will be reported to the relevant authorities.
